Rita's Story:
The Supreme Art of Comprehension
She is an
artist who speaks not with pictures and paint but as a writer with words,
feelings and emotions spanning a childhood and a lifetime of love.
Beautifully told, Rita's story examines the gifts of family and love set
against the loss we must all feel when losing someone dear to us. Her
life-long aspiration to be an artist is revealed as Rita takes us artfully
into the past and leaves us wanting to hear more about her life with Henry
and her family. To know Rita better. And to understand the incomprehensible.

February 2005, Mary and I returned to Poland retracing some of the
steps of our May 2000 visit. Our timing was related to a very

occasion was the 60th anniversary of the restart of the Krakow
Philharmonic Orchestra at the close of World War II, just days after the
liberation of nearby Auschwitz. Performing the difficult Szymanowski
Symphony #4, which is actually a piano concerto, Piotr was brilliant and
the audience called on him for numerous bows...

Ray's family
tree sleuthing in his travels throughout the US and Europe uncovered three
new family trees.
- The Franciszek family is based in Chicago, IL;
- the Jacques family is based in Lomme, France; and
